Memento Vitae is a series of six cattle leg bones containing various objects embedded in resin. The selected objects include small frogs, spiders, dragonfly wings, human hair, x-rays,and watch parts, all signifying the cycle of life. Small LED lights have been fitted within the bones to illuminate the objects. This piece is meant to be shown in a dark room to enhance the glow of the objects within the bones.
